🚀 Getting Started
CharacterForge offers three ways to create characters:
- Visual Builder: Click through categories to customize every aspect of your character
- AI Generation: Describe your character in words and let AI create it instantly
- Smart Randomizer: Generate random characters with style presets for cohesive designs
🎨 Using the Visual Builder
- Navigate Categories: Click on category buttons (Body Type, Face, Hairstyle, etc.) in the left sidebar
- Select Options: Choose from available options shown as thumbnails
- See Live Preview: Your character updates instantly in the center preview area
- Lock Features: Click the lock icon to preserve specific features during randomization
- Add Profile Details: Fill in character name, personality, backstory in the right panel
🤖 AI Character Generation
Get the best AI results with these tips:
- Be Specific: Mention hair color, eye color, clothing style, and accessories
- Set the Style: Specify if you want fantasy, modern, sci-fi, or anime aesthetic
- Include Personality: Add character traits for richer, more detailed profiles
- Describe Their Role: Mention if they're a warrior, mage, explorer, hacker, etc.
Example Prompt:
"A confident elven warrior with long silver hair, green armor, and piercing blue eyes. She's a natural leader who protects her forest homeland."
📤 Sharing & Exporting
Export Options:
- PNG: Transparent background for overlaying on other images
- JPG: Solid background, smaller file size
- PDF: Complete character sheet with image and profile details
- Share URL: Generate a link that recreates your exact character
